Are you new to Amazon Alexa? Get set up before the event!

Amazon Echo/Alexa will have devices for us to play with at Hack Over Passover. In order to make best use of hacking time, make sure to get set up in advance and start thinking through the apps you might build.

Instructions:
1. Create an account on https://aws.amazon.com (credit card required but Alexa coding is free)
2. Create an account on https://developer.amazon.com
3. Review instructions on https://developer.amazon.com/ask , setup one of the sample skills (voice apps).
4. Consider ordering an Echo for testing. Currently about a two week turnaround. Developers can also use the developer web console.
5. Start imagining use cases and projects that fit Alexa’s structured interaction model (Mad Libs comes to mind for storytelling for example).
